CHARLES DE GAULLE- Charles De Gaulle was a french general who founded and led the Free French Forces after German takeover of France during World War II. He later became the president of the French Provisional Government.
WINSTON CHURCHILL- Winston Churchill was the prime minister of Britain DURING world war II. he was a liberal and fought hard against fascism, and did not support the munich agreement.
DOUGLAS MACARTHUR- Douglas macarthur was an american general during world war II and led the Philippine army. He also led america through the pacific war with japan.
HIROHITO- Hirohito was emperor of Japan starting in 1926. He played a key role in japans expansion and ambitions in the pacific war.
ERWIN ROMMEL- Edwin rommel was a highly respected german officer. He was also named the "desert fox" because of his great skill in desert warfare.
DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER- Was an american General and supreme commander of the allied forces in europe during world war ii. He successfully invaded germany. He later became the 34th president of the united states.
FDR- Franklin D. Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the united states, serving for four whole terms from 1933 to 1945. He led the U.S. through the great depression and World war ii.
JOSEPH STALIN- Joseph stalin was the leader of the soviet union from the 1920's until 1953. He believed in socialism in one country and attempted to brutally industrialize russia. He created a non-aggression pact with hitler in 1939.
BENITO MUSSOLINI- Benito mussolini was the leader of the national fascist party in italy and then became the legal dictator of italy. He promoted fascism in italy and fought alongside the germans in world war ii.
ADOLF HITLER- adolf hitler was the fascist chancellor of germany from 1933-1945. He was responsible for the holocaust and began world war ii.
CHIANG KAI-SHEK- Chiang kai-shek was a chinese military leader who led the chinese nationalist party and then became the head of the chinese nationalist government in 1928.
HARRY TRUMAN- Harry truman became the 33rd president of the united states after fdr died in 1945. During his presidency he oversaw the end of war in europe and the atomic bombs dropped on japan. He also oversaw the founding of the united nations.

V-J DAY- means victory over Japan with the announcement of JApan's surrender to the Allies on August 14, 1946, however the formal surrender took place on september 2, 1945
WANNSEE CONFERENCE- was a conference where 15 high ranked NAzi party and Germany GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS discussed the obliteration of the Jews from Germany.
